What Choub is

Choub is a marketplace that helps businesses and people looking for work find each other. Choub is not an employer, recruitment agency or party to any employment relationship. Any agreement to work is between the business and the worker. Choub does not guarantee that anyone will be hired or that any position will be filled.

Who can use Choub

You must be 18 or over, and you must give truthful information. One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold or shared.

Rules for everyone

• No one may ask a worker for money in connection with a job. Doing so results in a permanent ban.
• Every job post must state a pay range; posts without pay are not published.
• Jobs must be located in Cambodia at the business's verified address. Overseas, out-of-province and remote postings are not permitted.
• Job posts and profiles must not discriminate on grounds prohibited by Cambodian law, and must be truthful.
• Be respectful in messages. Harassment, threats and scams are reported and acted on.
• Phone numbers are shared only when both sides agree; do not pressure anyone to share theirs.

Verification

Businesses must submit a shopfront photo and the owner's identity document before posting jobs. We aim to review submissions within 24 hours. We may decline or withdraw verification at our discretion, for example where a photo does not match the claimed location.

Reviews and the work record

Reviews can be left only after a confirmed hire and are shown to the other party only when both reviews are in or after 14 days. Reviews must be honest and about the work relationship. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Subscriptions

Workers never pay. Businesses may use the free trial (seven days from the first search), then pay a monthly or six-month subscription at the prices shown on the Pricing page. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

Choub Cards

A Choub Card is a physical NFC card that opens your public card page. You control what appears on the page. Cards are personalised and are covered by the Refund Policy.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Choub a licence to display it within the service so that the product works. You must have the right to share any photo or information you upload.

Suspension and bans

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms. Bans are enforced against identity, not only the account. You can contact us to dispute a decision.

Liability

Choub is provided as is. To the extent permitted by Cambodian law, Choub is not liable for the conduct of users, for any employment relationship, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Law on Consumer Protection.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Phnom Penh unless the law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
